Ingredients

Serves : 12
  • 12 tbsp unsalted butter


  • 4-5 nos eggs


  • 1 tbsp vanilla essence(or extract)


  • 1/4 cups milk


  • 1 tsp baking powder


  • 1 cups sugar


  • 1 cups all purpose flour


  • 1/4 tsp salt

Directions

  • Preheat Oven to 350 degrees.Grease and line a 6x2 inch loaf pan.
  • Sieve the flour and add the salt and baking powder to the flour.
  • To Make Cake Batter: Start by creaming butter and sugar until a pale light color.
  • Slowly add on the eggs and mix the batter until it is starting to curdle.
  • While starting to curdle add a spoon on sieved floor and keep add on adding the eggs and flour if required until all the eggs are added.
  • Add on Vanilla extract and add half milk with half of flour until both are combined.
  • After well combined add the remaining milk and gently fold in the remaining flour until combined.
  • Transfer the cake batter to greased loaf pan and Bake in Oven for 1 hr.
  • Please do a test if the cake is done by using a skewer and poke it in the middle to see that it comes out clean.
